There are no seeded players left in the Moorilla Hobart International after top seed Flavia Pennetta from Italy was ousted by Slovakian Magdalena Rybarikova 7-5 6-3 in the second round.
Pennetta, the world number 13, was the third seed to be upset in straight sets by a lower-ranked player.
Sixth seed Ji Zheng of China lost to Argentina
