Indian Wells, Calif. Here is a look at the most interesting storylines that we have to look forward to at the BNP Paribas Open, the first major tennis event of the season on U.S. soil and the most attended tournament outside of the four Grand Slams.

1. There is no question that one of the most gripping rivalries in all of sports is World No. 1 Rafael Nadal versus 13-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer.
